I was invited to a youth fireside on Sunday put on by the group, "G.E.M." "Gospel Enlightened Music". It was a really great evening. My daughter and her two nonmember friends, who are 9 & 11, went with me also. They really enjoyed the evening. A couple of this group's members are members of LDS musicians and I hope they put in a plug for themselves also. The song the girls really enjoyed, as I did also, being a single mother, was titled, "I Need a Wife", the facial expressions on the women in this group as the men sang this song were priceless. I do not know if they could do them the same way again. It made the song more meaningful. It was priceless. If any of you are looking for a group to do a musical fireside, this is the group.

They all live in Southern California. This is a great thing for all us Californians. Usually the good group are from Utah.

G.E.M. was awesome. You need to hear them to get the real affect. Thank you Chris for the invite, I hope to see you and hear you perform again soon.

Thank you for coming to Victorville and performing. We truly enjoyed your entertainment. We have 3 sons who have returned from missions and are actively seeking wives. Our family was all together for this memorial weekend and we had a lot of fun playing your CD.

One of my sons is a music major attending Cal State Fullerton and enjoys composing. He is actively pursuing copyrighting his material and looking for someone to perform his work. After his Ward choir performed his song Mother's Day, over 20 people have asked for a copy of his song. I must admit, we are biased parents and truly enjoyed listening to his song being performed. But as biased as we may be, it truly did sound very nice. After the meeting and after many requests for a copy of his song, we recommended to him to first get it copyrighted before distributing copies. When you performed Sunday night and my wife and I heard your group sing, we felt you harmonized so well together. After playing your CD to Dave and talking about your group, we suggested he contact you. The timing between Mother's Day and you singing Sunday couldn't have been better.

I originally approached you on the stand Sunday for a copy of your CD to give to our daughter for her birthday this week. We then felt impressed to give a copy to each of our 3 eldest sons. Thank you for your trust and giving us 4 copies. Good luck in your endeavors. Your music is very inspirational and will yet touch many hearts.
